February 22nd, 2015
We opened one of our clients homes to the public for Sustainable House Day, 2014.
For more information about this house, see here.
The house was included in Sanctuary Magazine per the article below.
Sustainable House Day is a national initiative to engage the public in the benefits of sustainable house design, and allow them exposure to different types of homes. Most of us as Australians live in older homes which might not be insulated, or facing north. Others will have the basics right. However, this annual event helps us experience different types of designs which can help educate us all about the potential of design to shape our lives. Each home opened will show a different perspective on what it means to be ‘sustainable’ and might provide a few ideas to inform your next renovation, new home, or office fit-out. It might even just influence the gardens you plant in your existing home, or the way you furnish your rooms.
